Robin Magowan

Robin Magowan took his Ph.D. in comparative literature from Yale University and is a professional writer in a number of genres. He is the author of numerous books of poetry, among them Birds in a Forest Swaying (Pas de Loup,1990), Lilac Cigarette in a Wish Cathedral (1998), and  Indelible Gestures (Northwestern, 2004). During the late 1970s while living in London, he founded the transatlantic review Margin. His prose writings include two books on bicycle racing, a book of travel essays, Improbable Journeys (2002), and an autobiography,Memoirs of a Minotaur. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
