Digby
John Digby, previously founder of Caligula Press (London) is founder and co-publisher of The Feral Press. British-born poet and collagist, he is widely published in magazines and anthologies and is the author of four books of poems: Sailing Away from Night, The Structure of Bifocal Distance, To Amuse a Shrinking Sun (Anvil Press Poetry) and Incantations (Stone House Press). He has also co-edited a number of literary anthologies, among them, Water Voyages and Dancing to the Music of Poetry, published in sequential booklets by The Feral Press. Co-author (with his wife) of The Collage Handbook (Thames and Hudson) he is widely acknowledged for his “archival” approach to collage materials and techniques. He has illustrated many booklets for diverse authors published by The Feral Press. He has also illustrated and published a number of his own and “found” poems under the press imprint. These include:
